These are tips below for guidelines on washing, drying, and caring for shirts and garments made with cut-only and printable heat transfer vinyl materials.

 

• Do not wash any garments that have been heat printed with vinyl for at least 24 hours following application. The adhesives are activated by the heat of your press which “melts” the adhesive into the fabric. The adhesive needs time to harden again without interruption. This ensures the graphic is durable.
• Do not dry clean any heat applied graphics. They just aren’t cut out for the harshness of dry cleaning.
• Turn the garment inside out before washing. This protects the graphic (especially if it’s a printed graphic) from abrasions and damage as other items in the wash rub together during the cycle.
• Choose cold or warm water temperature settings for the wash. You don’t want the water to exceed temperatures of 178 degrees Fahrenheit. High temperatures can weaken the adhesives.
• Use a mild detergent. Do not use any “green” detergents. We also recommend that you stray from whiteners, bleach, fabric softeners, or any aggressive cleaning solutions.
• Dry on a low heat/tumble setting or hang dry. Just like in the wash, you don’t want to exceed temps of 178 degrees. With that being said, stick to tumble dry settings or low heat settings. If possible, hang dry for the best results. Hang drying will minimalize wrinkles and potential heat damage.
• Check individual material washing directions! This is important as some specialty materials may have limitations that standard heat transfer vinyl may not. Sensitive materials may only be able to be washed by hand.
• Do not iron directly on a heat transfer design. Doing so will never end well. The high heat will either melt the vinyl or burn the adhesive. Both will ruin the garment. If you absolutely must iron the garment, place a dish towel or cloth over the transfer and iron on a LOW heat setting.

All clients receive a unique proposal and contract based upon the specific needs they have for their project. Each project has a detailed service agreement that must be signed by the client before work starts, which specifies details regarding refunds, cancellations and project pricing.

 

Please refer to your contract for specific details. Requests for the final portion of payment due on all projects are not made until the project receives final, written approval from the client, or at 30 days after a project has been completed. Final payment is due within 2-3 business days once the invoice is received.

 

Should you need to reaching out in regards to any issue you have with your order, for a quick and easy resolution, please attach a picture of the artwork on your product.

 

Once your order has gone to production, you are NOT eligible to change your order. After receiving your order, you are NOT eligible for a replacement, refund or exchange. However, depending on the circumstance, you MAY be eligible for a store credit toward a future replacement purchase.

 

General Refund Policy Guidelines

Graphic Design Services

The deposit payment specified in your contract is non-refundable. Requests for refunds, after the deposit payment’s associated milestone tasks have been achieved, must be presented to Artographx Creative Agency in writing. Refund requests must be made prior to Artographx Creative Agency receiving written or verbal authorization or approval of acceptance of services performed. After a proof has been accepted, no refund is available on graphic and design services.

 

Printing Services

Printing fees are 100% non-refundable if printing cycles have begun. If a printing fee refund is requested prior to the commencement of printing cycles, a full refund of printing fees, less a 50% processing fee will be issued.

 

Web Design and/or Development Services

The deposit payment specified in your contract is non-refundable. Requests for refunds, after the deposit payment’s associated milestone tasks have been achieved, must be presented to Artographx Creative Agency in writing. Refund requests must be made prior to Artographx Creative Agency receiving written authorization or approval of acceptance of services performed. In the event that the deposit amount does not fully cover the development time spent on the project (@$90/hr), and other expenses related to development of the project, than additional payment will be due. Please refer to the specific details found in your project proposal and agreement.

 

All refund requests must be received in writing. U.S. Postal mail, email, text and fax notifications are acceptable. Telephone requests will not constitute acceptance of any refund request.

 

Non-refundable Services:

The following payments are not refundable.

• Payments made for ALL Graphic and Web Design-related products
• Payments made for ALL customized apparel items
• Payments made for Website Maintenance
• Payments made for Tax Accounting services and products

 

How Refunds Are Processed

Unless your contract states otherwise, payments made to Artographx Creative Agency by credit card will be refunded (within 7-10 business days) to the card that the payment was made with. Cash or Check payments will be refunded electronically via bank transer ONLY.
